Huge Sliding Indirect Inguinal Hernia Developed after the Twice Repart of the Reccurent Indirect inguinal Hernia

Abstract
A case of huge sliding indirect inguinal hernia is reported, which was devloped after the twice repair of the recurrent indirect inguinal hernia.
The patient was a 24 years old male who had complained of a progressively enlarging left scrotal mass measuring 20¡¿15¡¿14cm. in size.
The operative findin was as follows;
The sigmoid colon formed the posterolateral wall of the hernial sac around it¢¥s neck. The enlargment of the internal inguinal ring tookplace predominantly in a medial direction and reached nearly to the left pubic tubercle. It¢¥s enlargement built the oval shaped hernial orifice measuring 4cm. in long diameter. Because of this pathological condition. The left inferior epigastric vessels were displaced in the inferomedial direction and felt in the internal surface of the abdominal wall by the index finger inserted through the hernial orifice. Also the left femoral vessels were noticed in the outer 1/3 of the inferior border of the hernial orifice.
A brief review of the literatures was made comparing with this case about the general aspects of a sliding hernia.
